🚔 Operation Snap: You Record It, We Review It 🚔

Have you captured dangerous or careless driving on your dashcam, CCTV, or a passenger's mobile phone?

Operation Snap allows members of the public to submit footage of driving offences, helping us make North Yorkshire's roads safer for everyone.

📹 Examples include: 
✅ Dangerous driving / Driving without due care
✅ Using a mobile phone while driving
✅ Failing to stop at a red light
✅ Ignoring road signs
✅ Crossing solid white lines

If you've captured an offence while going about your normal day, send it to us. Our specially trained staff will review the footage and, where appropriate, drivers may receive education, a fixed penalty, penalty points, or be summoned to court.

⚠️ Remember: 
• Submit footage within 10 days of the incident
• Footage must be original and must cover two minutes before and two minutes after the event.
• The vehicle registration must be clearly visible
